Scout

This is Hitler and Ava's dog Scout. When they started dating and then Ava moved in with me and Hitler- he brought Scout and Kami (Scout's offspring) with. They are both big lovable dogs.

Scout was just diagnosed with bladder cancer last week. With meds- she might make to New Years, and where the tumor is located, surgery is not an option. She's incontinent and not eating much. Ava made the decision to put her down. So Thursday, October 30th around noon, there will be no more Scout.

I took this picture of her being cute and begging for food....and then they dropped the bomb that we will have her around for 4 more days. Poor Scooter. Poor Hilter....Poor Ava....

I'm a hot shitty mess.

Ahhhhhhh.....Napa

Ahhhhhhhhhh.....Vacation.... I love it.... truly, truly love it. I had a much better time on the trip than anticipated. I let go of the apprehensions I had with the "girls weekend/birthday trip" with Weeny and Weeny's mom. I wanted to enjoy myself, and wants the point of dropping a pretty penny if I wasn't going to enjoy the trip??
On to the pictures...first let me apologize for the sizing of these bad boys. I don't know why they are all funky. I'm not a technical person, but I think I saved them weird and now they are posting funky.
Weeny, Weeny's mom and I did the Napa Wine Train for lunch one day. It was a fairly costly at $120 per person, but it was a pretty ride through the wine country and an unbelievably delicious four course lunch that was well worth the indigestion I wound up suffering afterwards.

I forgot to take pictures of salad and dessert. The salad was an oversight on my part and the dessert was consumed too fast.
I stomped some grapes at Grgich. It felt a little nasty at first. Then I embraced the squishy feeling and had fun with it.
Here's Weeny stomping....

The vineyards have amazing gardens. Weeny and I are garden people. It was heaven. I couldn't stop taking pictures of flowers and the scenery.

We also did a scenic drive. And saw some redwoods... To say they were massive is a serious understatement.

We also went to the ocean. It wa very overcasty, so the pictures weren't as great as I had hoped, but it was still great. At one drive off, I walked down a path to get closer to the ocean. I would have actually touched the water had there been enough time to walk the rest of the way down, but some one was a stop watch nazi and only allowed for so many minutes per stop....I'm not bitter about that at all, I swear....

Here's the nazi, I mean Weeny taking a picture of me from the car

And we went to Safari West. It's a great animal preserve. The tour was great. We saw lots of giraffes, zebras, antelope, gizelles, cows, other horned creatures, rhinos, lemurs, wild kitties, and a crap load of birds...if you don't like birds, this not the place for you.
Oh look....a penis.....
That's a short recap of the trip...there are over 300 pictures between me and Weeny, and I don't want to bore...but Napa really is beautiful. It really makes you question if you are in California or in Italy at times.
Rock out-
The end....

Penises and Cocks- not necasarily the same...

The Napa trip- totally loved it. It was much better than I expected. I need to get some pictures downloaded, and I'll post them here....

Saw some great things like a GIRAFFE'S penis...picture to come....He was getting frisky with another female just a mere month or so since his last love gave birth!! What a slut!!!

And the cock- there was a crowing rooster at one of the vineyards...if I was smart I would have recorded it- instead of taking just a picture. All I wanted to do was yell "I SEE COCKS!!!" but something tells me Weeny's mother wouldn't appreciate that too much.

More to come-
